Daily Language Workouts

Grades 6-12

These teacher resource books provide a series of sentences—and later in each book, paragraphs—with a multitude of errors in grammar and mechanics.  They make great warm-up activities; as students come into class, one or more sentences are written on the board and students have to make one correction before they sit down.  They also make excellent keyboarding exercises that at the same time reinforce English skills.  Answers are provided on opposite pages.  Great for sharpening grammar and proofreading skills!

Lower grades (6-9) are good for reviewing basic skills.  Higher levels become more demanding, with more complicated paragraph exercises.

Cost: $21.95 each—only one needed per class
