High School Student Guidance - College Planning

In addition to providing guidance to high school students in ROP program selection, completion of registration, and assistance with job placement, Career Guidance Specialists (CGSs) also guide students, who have completed specific ROP classes, toward local community colleges and courses that may articulate advanced placement, and/or credits.

Advanced Placement and Credits

North Orange County Regional Occupational Program has entered into articulation agreements with several local community colleges. These agreements permit students who have completed specific ROP classes to enroll in further training at the community college without having to repeat some of the basics and receive college credits for some classes.

The requirements to receive the advanced placement and/or credits vary by the individual course. Inquiries should be made with your instructor to learn the specifics. College processing fees may apply.
