Course Title:  Multimedia Production

This competency-based course provides instruction in multimedia layout, design, and production, as used in development of interactive CD-ROMs, multimedia productions, and web pages.  PC-compatible systems, scanners, CD-ROM writer, and commercial software are used in this course.  Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include basic academic skills, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, safety, technology, and other employment skills.

This course is offered in a structured, two-semester format.  Training takes place in a classroom/laboratory setting, using state-of-the-art equipment.  Students may train for a maximum of 360 hours.
