The Computer Aided Design/CAD Drafting course provides training in drafting and computer-aided design, including essentials of manual drafting, use of equipment, and AutoCAD software. Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include basic academic skills, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, safety, technology, and other employment skills. Also included are essential math applications, including measurement and conversion, decimals, fractions, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

Students train for a maximum of 780 hours.
