1100 family members
and friends clapped and cheered for
the 260 students honored at the
annual North Orange County ROP
Celebration of Success student
awards ceremony Friday, May 8, at
the Heritage Forum Theater in
Anaheim. The Career Education
Foundation gave more than $35,000 in
awards and scholarships to the
career-technical education students,
who attend classes on 23 high school
and three ROP campuses.
Career Sector winners
were chosen for excellence in their
chosen fields: In the case of a
single person winning the award, the
amount granted was $400. Persons
who shared the award were given $200
each.
