large audience of family members
and friends applauded and cheered for
the students honored at the
annual North Orange County ROP
Celebration of Success student
awards ceremony Friday, May 6, at
the Heritage Forum Theater in
Anaheim. The Career Education
Foundation provided monetary
awards and scholarships to the
career-technical education students,
who attend classes at 23 high schools,
and on three ROP campuses.
Career Sector winners
were chosen for excellence in their
chosen fields: Amounts awarded
depended on whether or not the grant was shared.
