Districts/Communities Served

North Orange County Regional Occupational Program is a cooperative effort in career technical education by five school districts: Anaheim Union High School District; Brea Olinda Unified School District; Fullerton Joint Union High School District; Los Alamitos Unified School District; and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.

ROP serves communities in north Orange County and parts of Los Angeles County. Cities served include Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Habra, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Placentia, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Whittier, and Yorba Linda.
 

Learning Environments

Students learn in high school classrooms and at various off-campus ROP training sites.

Community Classroom (CC) site learning takes place in both the classroom and in the workplace throughout the course.  Some ROP classes offer internship opportunities at local businesses and industries. 

Cooperative Vocational Education (CVE) learning takes place in the classroom and on the job, and students are paid for their work on the job.
