ROP students planning on enrolling in further education and career training a local community college may qualify for Advanced Placement and College Credit.

Students may earn advanced placement and/or college credit if they earn an A or B in certain classes.  Instructors can provide you with more information about articulation.

The North Orange County Regional Occupational Program has entered into articulation agreements with several local community colleges.  These agreements permit students who have completed our programs to enroll in further training at the community college without having to repeat some of the basics, and receive college credits for some classes.

The requirements to receive the advanced placement and/or credits vary by the individual course.  Inquiries should be made with your instructor to learn the specifics.  College processing fees may apply.

The inside front cover of the printed schedule lists classes for which high school students can earn University of California "g" credits. Click here for a list of ROP courses available for articulation, listed under specific colleges (subject to change).

Open-entry Classes
